For more than six decades, the Mills family has been a proud and influential force in Australian Speedway and Speedcar racing. What began with team founder John Mills, under the banner Mills Racing, grew into a multi‑generational legacy built on passion, determination, and an unshakeable connection to the sport. John’s racing career spanned over 40 years, establishing the Mills name as a respected, competitive, and familiar presence on tracks across the country.
His son Travis Mills carried that legacy forward, forging an accomplished 25‑year career of his own. Racing across multiple divisions, Travis captured both Australian and State Championships and helped evolve the operation into a two‑car team known as Mills Motorsport. His commitment to excellence — both behind the wheel and in the workshop — strengthened the family’s reputation and set the stage for the next chapter.
Today, that chapter belongs to Caleb Mills. With Travis stepping back from driving to mentor and guide his son, the team enters a new era as Caleb Mills Racing. Caleb brings fresh ambition, modern thinking, and a relentless drive to build on the foundation laid by the generations before him. The rebrand reflects not just a change in name, but a shift toward the future — a future shaped by innovation, professionalism, and the same family values that have defined the Mills legacy since day one.

WHO IS CALEB MILLS?
Caleb Mills is a third-generation racer, raised in a family synonymous with Australian Speedcar racing.
Affectionately known as “Camels”, Caleb began his racing journey at just 10 years old in the Junior Quarter Midget ranks. His natural ability was clear from the start — claiming his first win at age 11 and adding eight more victories before graduating from the division.
Caleb’s racing education started early. Guided by his dad, his uncle, and both pops, he absorbed decades of knowledge and discipline. That grounding shaped a racer who stays cool under pressure, makes smart choices, and never stops chasing improvement.
At 16, Caleb stepped into the world of Speedcars, where his progression has been fast, focused, and impressive. He has spent countless hours studying the sport, working alongside experienced competitors, and refining his race craft with maturity well beyond his years.
Caleb’s development has also taken him overseas. Time in the United States with Chase McDermand Racing gave him exposure to new tracks, new techniques, and a higher level of competition — experience that has accelerated his growth and broadened his understanding of what it takes to succeed at the top level.
Across the last two seasons, Caleb has expanded into the Compact Speedcar division, using the additional seat time to sharpen his skills and build consistency. Strong results across both categories have reinforced his reputation as a versatile and committed competitor.
